SAT prep that starts with your next useful session

Prepare for the SAT with a routine you can repeat: practice a skill, understand a mistake, and try again on a different question. Dolphin brings study and review together; official Bluebook tests remain your reference for the real testing experience.

Good fit when

You want a place to practice regularly and review the work behind your answers.

Before you choose

Dolphin is an independent preparation product. Its practice and score information are not official College Board results or a guarantee of your test-day score.

Give each session one job

Start with a skill you missed or could not explain on your latest practice. Attempt questions before reading their explanations. When you make a mistake, name the first step that went wrong and apply the corrected method to a fresh question.

Dolphin’s public Math and Reading and Writing guides can help you find a starting point. Enter the study setup when you are ready to build your routine.

Choose the right place to practice

What you need today Where to start What to take away
A short practice opportunity Dolphin’s mobile study option One mistake you understand better
A focused skill session Dolphin’s web study flow Evidence that you can use the method
Official test familiarity College Board’s Bluebook Experience with the official interface and timing
A decision about your resources Our SAT comparison guides A smaller, clearer shortlist

The iOS app and web product have different access arrangements. Review the current plan shown during setup or checkout for the web features you need. Avoid assuming that access on one platform includes every feature on the other.

Build a review loop around your mistakes

A useful review note has three parts: the clue you missed, the rule or reasoning you needed, and what you will do differently next time. “Careless mistake” is usually too vague to guide the next session.

For example, if you solved an equation correctly but answered for the wrong quantity, write that exact error. On your next problem, identify the requested quantity before doing the algebra. Then check whether that change actually helped.

Keep an official testing checkpoint

Use Bluebook for official full-length digital SAT practice. Take a test under the prescribed conditions, then review the result before scheduling another. Repeating a familiar test can make improvement difficult to interpret.

Use daily practice to work on the patterns the test revealed. A large question count or a rising in-app indicator is not by itself proof of an equivalent test-day score gain.

Set up a realistic routine

Choose SAT during Dolphin’s high-school study setup. Start with time you can reliably protect during an ordinary school week. Expand only after you have completed and reviewed those sessions.

If you are still choosing a test, use the SAT vs ACT guide first. If cost is the priority, start with the free SAT resource guide and add a paid tool only for an identified need.

Dolphin is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by College Board. Bluebook provides official digital SAT practice tests.
