Before you choose
A bigger library, a polished dashboard, or an advertised guarantee does not by itself establish better learning or a future score.
Make the test decision together
Use official practice from each test if the student is undecided. Compare relative performance, pacing, fatigue, and testing access. Check requirements directly with the relevant institutions when those affect the decision.
Once the student chooses a primary test, organize the preparation around it. Splitting every week between two programs can increase workload before you know whether both are useful.

Include your student in the trial. The person who will use the product should attempt the lesson or practice and explain what helped.
Agree on a short weekly check-in
Ask three questions: what became clearer, what still causes mistakes, and what is the next useful session? Look at one specific example together if the student is comfortable sharing it.
Keep the conversation about work and decisions. A streak, time total, or number of answered questions can show activity without proving understanding. An independently explained correction is often more informative.
Protect a realistic amount of time
Plan around an ordinary school week, including assignments, activities, and rest. Start with appointments that are possible to keep. Make room to review errors rather than filling every available slot with new questions.
If the routine is regularly missed, adjust the workload or clarify the next task. Buying another course before resolving that problem can add friction instead of support.
