You have course material and want a guided way to work through it, especially when reading the same notes again is not helping.
Before you choose
Generated material needs checking against your course. Use your instructor’s syllabus and assignments to decide what belongs in your exam preparation.
Start with the course you are actually taking
A biology survey course and an upper-level seminar may share vocabulary without asking you to do the same work. Give Dolphin the course name and material that reflects your class. A syllabus establishes the scope; lecture notes and slides fill in the details.
You can create a course from a prompt or uploaded material. Start with a manageable part of the semester so you can check the result before adding more. Describe the relevant weeks and your instructor’s emphasis during setup.
Move from reading to doing

Pip can use a course’s uploaded material when answering questions and identify the relevant file and page or slide. That gives you somewhere to check an explanation. Citations are a starting point for verification, rather than a promise that every generated answer is correct.
A first session worth trying
Bring one week’s material. After the course is ready, pick one lesson connected to your next assignment. Before opening the explanation, write what you think the idea means in one sentence. Work through the activity, then try the explanation again in your own words.
The useful comparison is between those two attempts. You are looking for a missing step you can now explain, a misconception you can name, or a problem you can solve independently. Time on the page alone does not establish that you learned it.
Add material as the semester moves
Use Add material inside an existing course for new notes or slides. You do not need to create a new course for every lecture. Keep the original material available so you can catch an omitted section or an interpretation that differs from class.
